Esme’s Science Fair Project: Feb 2015
Esme participated in the Clark Elementary School Science Fair and won 2nd place. For her project, Esme wanted to “learn about taste” and do something with baking, so she decided to see if people could tell the difference between sugar cookies baked with the normal recipe and those baked with a 1/2 cup less sugar. Esme and Leslie baked several batches of cookies and then we had a cookie tasting party with some of our neighbors. Esme drew up response forms for the tasters and everyone was given a sample of each cookie (in random order, which was Esme’s idea) and then asked to rate which one they thought was the sweetest and which one they liked the best. Esme did a really great job with her first science fair project and we are very proud of her accomplishment.
