MiMi & Papa Visit: December 2014 – January 2015
This is the last batch of pictures from the end of December and beginning of January.
First, there were the pictures from when it was just GiGi and Grandpa visiting.
Then, there were pictures from the airport homecoming.
Last time, we shared pictures (and video now too) of the week or so where we had an overlap between GiGi and Grandpa plus MiMi and Papa.
GiGi and Grandpa ended their 3+ week visit on Monday December 29. Papa was able to stay until January 1 and MiMi was here until Monday January 12. It was an exciting visit – unfortunately highlighted by some mild fevers (Brynn missed 2 days of school, Esme 3) and some heater problems (of course it happens the coldest week of the winter so far) but all in all we had a great time.
We’ve got almost 300 pictures/video (see all below), but here’s a summary of some of the more noteworthy moments: Han’s attempt at the trampoline next door; Han’s first trip to the library; Brynn picking out one of her Christmas presents at Build-a-Bear; Brynn and Esme’s makeup shop; our attempt at a family picture at the Botanical Gardens; our attempt at a picture of the grandkids with MiMi and Papa; fun with Play-Doh; Han’s first trip to the Magic House; Han wearing Esme’s pajamas (actually a regular occurrence); our first trip to the new Wild Wonder Outpost at the St Louis Zoo; fun around the house; and another attempt of a picture of the grandkids with MiMi.
