Airport “Homecoming”: December 2014
We figured it would be easier to break up the pictures from the past few weeks into a few bunches (aside from the days in China), so here’s some from our “homecoming” back to St. Louis.
Jeff says that everyone, at some point in their life, should be greeted at the airport by people with balloons and signs. Well, we can now cross that one off our list!
Around 5pm Central time on Thursday, December 25, 2014, we landed back in St. Louis following ~24 hours of travel from Hong Kong via San Francisco. Jeannie and Kenny (Mimi and Papa) arrived in St. Louis about an hour before us, via Denver, and waited to greet us at the gate — they got to meet Han about 5 minutes before the rest of the family did.
Esme and Brynn were very excited to meet Han, and given the fact that he had only slept a few hours in the past 24, he was pretty excited to meet everyone. We have some pictures and one video, as you can see, but not a ton — our priorities were elsewhere, as you can imagine.
If you’re reading this in your email, you might want to view this post on the web site for easier viewing of the images. You can always go to the SmugMug gallery to download the photos or order prints.

Welcome home and thanks for all the pictures of your journey. Han is adorable and looks like he will be happy to be a part of this family. Have a Happy New Year and love to all.
