Cape Cod Trip: August 2012
It had been about two years since we visited Cape Cod — Brynn hadn’t been there yet, and we hadn’t visited since GiGi and Grandpa retired and moved there full-time — so we rounded up the crew and took off for a few days of fun in the sun. Unfortunately, some east coast storms derailed our plans, and GiGi and Grandpa ended up driving to Newark to pick us up and then bring us to the Cape — 5 hours each way! They clearly wanted to see their grandkids a lot to endure that much time in the car.
Well, the visit didn’t disappoint. Despite a few days of rain and humidity, we kept ourselves very busy. Jeff’s friend Lisa and her family were on their way to Martha’s Vineyard for their vacation and stopped by the condo one morning. We made a number of trips to the condo pool and made it out to the beach for a bit. There was shopping, dining out (lots of messy meals with Brynn), fun with the cats and all the toys around the condo, napping (planned and impromptu), and lots of good quality GiGi and Grandpa time. And, as always, no shortage of pictures…

Again – thank you so much for the pictures – it almost feels like I was there with you. The kids look wonderful and that they are having one graat time with their grandparents.
