Trip to Colorado: June 2012
We are still recovering (in a good way) from a fantastic trip to Colorado last week. Though we visited in December, it was the first time in about 3 years we had been there in the summer and we had a great time. Esme and Brynn loved seeing all of the animals, playing outside in the garden and with the rocks, and hanging out at the nice playground in Paonia. Jeff got to go mountain biking in Crested Butte, and both Mom and Dad enjoyed the free babysitting and vacation naps.
Mimi’s favorite part seemed to be holding Brynn when she napped on the swing and helping Esme ride Chaco; PaPa’s favorite part seemed to be having the girls visit him at work and having Esme help feed the sheep. We got to hang out with Uncle Patrick, and even Aunt Jackie and Uncle Marc came to visit for a day. We had S’Mores, had picnics, played in the kiddie pool — all in all a great trip.
