Spring snow
Weather in St. Louis is usually strange, though this winter/spring has been particularly crazy. In the past three months in the St. Louis area, there’s been a tornado, several hurricane-like wind storms, a new record high (83 degrees in March?!), and fluctuations between summer and winter in subsequent days. Oh, and in just the past few weeks — starting two days after we put some cold weather veggies in the garden — we’ve had two snowstorms, one sleet storm, and one (drumroll please) thundersnow.
The latest of these strange weather events was this past weekend. Friday and Saturday morning were relatively normal March weather — a bit chilly, a bit overcast. Then, starting Saturday around noon, the snow started. Let’s let Esme explain…
