Kilpatricks visit
Last weekend we had some special visitors — Steph, Dave, and Ian came from Washington, D.C. to see Brynn and hang out. It was a whirlwind few days. We had a wonderful time and took advantage of every minute. Ian and Esme had lots of fun playing together and only got into a few serious arguements (mainly over sharing — or not sharing — toys). Ian really wasn’t itnerested in Brynn, though Steph and Dave loved holding her (and Jeff and Leslie loved getting a bit of a break). We took in lots of sites and lots of food.
In the true Lash family tradition, there are tons of photos (you may want to just go to the SmugMug gallery, since not all of them seem to be showing up below), and without going through and putting captions on each one, here’s a quick recap of what we did: played inside; played outside; played with the neighbor kids Meredith and Allie; went for walks; went to Sweet Tomatoes; “drove” the car; took some baths; went to Turtle Park and the St. Louis Zoo; had a picnic; went to the playground at the church near our house; went out for ice cream; went out for breakfast; went to the City Museum; made Challah; went out for Mexican food; played dress up; went to the Magic House; and napped (though not entirely in that order).
It was an awesome long weekend and we can’t wait for them to visit again!
If you’re reading this in your email, you might want to view this post on the web site for easier viewing of the images. You can always go to the SmugMug gallery to download the photos or order prints.
