Two-year checkup
We’re still not sure how our little Esme got to be two years old, though it’s slowly sinking in. Today we had her two-year checkup with the Pediatrician. There was a bit of squirming during the shots and a tantrum when she didn’t get the kind of Band-Aid she liked (Road Runner, rather than Dora), though otherwise she is good to go for another year unless there are any problems.
So, pull out your scorecards for those of you playing at home, and let’s recap her growth and see where these newest measurements fall…
- Birth; Saturday, August 2, 2008: 7lbs, 14oz.; 20″
- Hospital discharge; Tuesday, August 5, 2008: 7lbs, 7oz. (it’s normal for babies to lose some weight in their first few days)
