Happy Birthday Esme!
Well, we’ve got a two year old. Though Esme’s official birthday is tomorrow, we had a party on Saturday to celebrate this milestone. The weather cooperated, unlike last year, and everyone had a great time. It was fun to see kids young and old playing together inside and outside, making new friends and enjoying time together. In lieu of gifts we asked people to bring donations to the St. Louis Crisis Nursery, and we collected a bunch of great things that we’ll drop off this week. Esme still got a few presents, mainly going along with the Dora The Explorer theme. The true sign it was a good party? At least one person ended up going home naked. (Well, truth be told, Ethan did have a diaper on, and it was because his clothes got wet from the water table. Still….)
