GiGi and Grandpa visit
While Leslie stayed in Cape Cod an extra week traveling around the northeast, Jeff returned to St. Louis with Esme and GiGi and Grandpa flew out for the week as well. They had a great time entertaining Esme (mainly indoors — the heat was oppressive), and she did a fantastic job of entertaining them.
Best story of the week — Esme was helping respond when GiGi was asking “A is for…” (Apple); “B is for…” (Banana). When she got to G, instead of Esme’s normal responses — like GiGi, or grapes — she responded “Google.” Jeff swears that he didn’t teach that to her. Leslie is skeptical.
Oh, and despite all the pictures which would make you think otherwise, Esme did do more this past week than just paint with / eat chocolate pudding…
