July 4 recap
Wow, what a weekend. We sure seem to take advantage of these long weekends — this time it included Friday night at the Zoo with the Harkonens, a bike ride with Bella to the Webster Groves parade, a constitutionally-obligated cookout at our house, a trip to the Webster Community Days carnival, a block party, lawnwork, a trip to Grant’s Farm with our next door neighbors the Maher’s, and some shopping for party supplies for Esme’s 2nd birthday (!). Whew, it’s tiring just writing about it. It’s amazing that we were able to squeeze a few naps in, though given the agenda, completely necessary. We had a great time, though, and the weather cooperated which is amazing for a July 4 weekend.
