Weekend in DC with Cousin Ian
We had a great time in Washington DC this past weekend visiting Jeff’s sister Steph, brother-in-law Dave and Esme’s cousin Ian. Jeff had to be in DC for work, so Leslie and Esme met up and spent a long weekend with the family.
Esme had been practicing all week, saying “Cousin Ian” so much we had to remember to tell her that his name was Ian, not “Cousin Ian.” On Saturday we went to the Clemyjontri Playground; on Sunday we went to the National Aquarium. In between, there was plenty of good time for good food, playing around the house, and walks around the neighborhood.
The kids have grown up a lot since the last time they were together at Thanksgiving, and even farther since they saw each other in the summer of 2009, and their first meeting just a month after Ian was born. We’ve got some good videos of the weekend as well that we’ll post soon.
