Winery trip
Another fall, another fall tradition — our annual outing to Missouri wine country. While we’d love to go more often, it seems like our schedule (and lack of foresight to plan ahead) means we usually get one good day in each year.
This year, we decided to go back to Blumenhof Winery (last year’s recap here). Despite the unseasonably cool weather, we had a great time — in the sun the temperature was just about perfect, and we had a great afternoon with most of the crew from last year’s trip. It was a bit of a different experience with a 14-month old vs. a 3-month old, since Leslie and Jeff (and friends) took turns chasing Esme around the patio area. Maybe next year we can get her to sit down for some extended period of time so we can enjoy the relaxation a bit more. Still, a wonderful trip, only an hour outside of the city, as the pictures and video show.
