Doggy!
Esme has a rather limited and slowly-growing vocabulary, though far and away her favorite word is DOGGY! It’s never just “doggy”; it’s always DOGGY! In this video from a recent dinner out, she shows off her favorite word, plus some additional babbling and her two new front teeth. (Note: We noticed afterward that there was in fact a doggy on the coloring sheet, contrary to what we said on the video. We don’t think that Esme actually saw the doggy — more likely she just saw the monkey and responded to that, since that’s what she tends to do. However, it is possible that she has truly amazing eyesight — not from her father — and was able to pick out the small dog in the midst of all of the other things on the coloring sheet.)
