Esme’s future boyfriend
We’ve been bad about updating the list of recent and upcoming babies we mentioned a while ago, mainly because the pace has been fast and furious and we can barely keep track. We had enough trouble keeping track of who is pregnant, let alone when, whether the gender is known, and the name / date / vitals on the birth itself. So, apologies to anyone to whom we ask, “So, how’s — the baby? And the baby is how old now?”
However, we thought it was worth mentioning Sara and Andrew’s new arrival, mainly because we keep joking about the arranged marraige we’re planning so much that Jeff and Andrew may actually go through with it — plus the Lash-Veety experience can now officially be a quartet.
Reis Andrew Veety — all 5lbs 15oz — was born Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 6:30am. (And, since you’re probably wondering, it’s pronounced like the Reece, or the Reese in Reese’s Peanut Butter cups. What a delicious choice for a name.) Jeff is unfortunately out of town for work and hasn’t been able to see Reis in person yet, though Leslie was quick to pay the happy family a visit.
Oh, and Tuesday also happened to be Andrew and Sara’s 2-year anniversary — you don’t get much more of a coincidence than that.
Congrats to the proud parents and you’re likely to be seeing more of Reis here in the future…
