First Father’s Day
Today we had a great Father’s Day — Jeff’s first as a dad. Esme is getting her second tooth in (we would have posted a picture of the first one, though we’ve been unable to get a photo thus far) and seems rather upset about it, so she’s been in a bit of a bad mood all weekend.
Still, we had a great time. Earlier this week, Esme had her first fingerpainting experience, trying to make some artwork for dad. Of course, she decided she’d rather eat the paint than paint with it, so that didn’t last long. The artwork turned into wrapping paper for the real present — Esme and mom getting pictures taken at Picture People. You can see the “nice” pictures and order prints and whatnot if you’d like.
All in all, it was a rather uneventful day — mowing the lawn, running some errands, hanging out at the pool. Pictures and video are below (again, you may have better luck viewing the pictures on the web site if you’re reading this in your email or RSS reader).
