House update
Yes, there are other things going on in our lives besides Esme. Well, okay, not a lot, though whatever time we’re not spending chasing after a 10-month-old (no, we can’t believe she’ll be 10 months this week either) we’ve been spending working on the house. Maybe to be more specific — about half the time we’ve been spending working on the house, and half the time we’ve been spending shopping for new things for the house. We see it as our patriotic duty to stimulate the economy — so we’ve been promoting capitalism in the form of a new TV, sound system, sectional, bed (frame, mattress, comforter set — it’s all the “accessories” that get you). Luckily the big purchases are mostly done and it’s mainly a lot of different colors of paint for the rest of the house which are on our list.
