First day at the pool
Today we took our first trip to the Webster Groves Aquatic Center, just about a mile from our house. With the beautiful, sunny weather, it was packed, though we were able to find a place to hang out and enjoy the water with Esme. We tried out all of the different facilities — the regular pool, the kiddie pool, the really kiddie play area, the splash center. It’s like having our own water park right in our backyard! (Well, it is a water park practically in our backyard.) Jeff didn’t try the enclosed slide, though we’ll surely be back many times this summer.
Esme had a great time in the water, and even more fun out of it, walking (assisted, of course) all over the pool area. Pictures and two (!) videos are below — Esme has been standing and clapping a lot lately, and even though these aren’t “pool” videos per se, we figured everyone would be interested in seeing her progress towards being a fully mobile little girl.
Here’s a link to the full SmugMug gallery for another way of viewing the pictures.

Thank you for making our lives more complicated then is necessary! I realize what you are trying to do is to make us more flexible in various programs by changing your format every once in awhile. We follow all the instructions for Adobe Flash Player, but for whatever reason it never indicated as to how to get in there. Only by some miracle by punching 24 different keys on it did we see those two short videos which were on Flash Player. Please consider the technical age of Great Grandpa and Grandma.
