Movie of our DC trip
Esme’s Grandpa Art was kind enough (and, more importantly, had enough time) to put together a nice movie of our visit to Washington D.C. last weekend. (Missed that post? Read more about it.) It’s a nice compilation of pictures and video, including Esme playing with (read: trying to eat) her new doll (a gift from Grandpa Art and Gigi), Esme dancing, and Esme spitting up (lovely of Grandpa to include that one, isn’t it?). Of course, Emse’s cousin Ian gets appropriate airtime as well. Meanwhile, the rest of the family is relegated to supporting parts, though that’s probably just good preparation for the years ahead with these two wonderful kids.

Any communications from the “gang” is always welcome. It’s almost like a short visit with the people we love so much. There is no question that you can see the progress from Esme’s different body parts. The hands are definitely a vehicle to get things into her mouth. She looks and acts like a real person. I think if Ian was able to observe her for awhile he would probably catch on to what is required of him. However, I’m sure mother nature will give him the normal things to do when he becomes of certain ages. Thank you very much for the short synopsis of your family get together in Washington. Thank, thank you, for the short visit.
