Laptop baby
Every day it seems like Esme gets more and more active and is interested in “playing” with more different things around the house. Yesterday we spent some time on Skype, getting to see our first live video of Ian (and Steph and Dave, plus Art and Gloria who were visiting), and then having some good quality time with Mimi and Grandpa Kenny. Through all of this, Esme demonstrated her increasing ability to sit up by herself and attempt to eat the computer.
Yes, she takes after her dad and seems to like spending time in front of the laptop. Later in the evening, we were just hanging out, watching some Free to Be You and Me on YouTube, when we were able to get this video of Esme…

Dear Esme –
Thank you for your first email communication. The words were a little garbled but great grandparents are geared to understand anything geared to them from their great grandchildren. However, I understand the necessity for confidentiality and therefore, I cannot disclose the contents of Esme’s email to us. When she is old enough to say it is OK to disclose the info I will be glad to tell you what it was. There is no question she is very interested in the computer keyboard. I’m sure, in the realm of children’s toys there is something that resembles a keyboards which she can have right on her own table. There is no question in our minds that she is destined to be a genius, and is anybody doesn’t agree with that – we will punch them out!
