A Crawford commute
One of the great things about visiting Mimi and Grandpa Kenny in Colorado is the many things that we don’t get to experience in St. Louis. On Monday, we went into Paonia to have lunch at The Diner and show off Esme to everyone at The Bank. About 5 minutes after we left, as we were approaching the bustling town center of Crawford, we ran into a small, um, traffic jam.
St. Louis has some strange traffic issues, though this isn’t one of them.
And a note on the video — you’ll notice Esme contributes some “background noise.” She doesn’t like her car seat, as you can hear from the audio. Usually after about 10 minutes, she calms herself down, as she did a few minutes after we took this video. Luckily, she’s now a bit more used to it a bit now, as are we.

Andrew, you and Sara are welcome any time (and anybody else who would like to visit Colorado)!!! In the summer we have river rafting and hiking in the mountains…in the winter, we have cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing (if you’re into that sort of thing…ask Jeff and Leslie) sledding…and for a different experience, you can always feed the cattle, goats, or chickens.
