Esme’s first Thanksgiving
It’s been 10 days since we posted — yes, we’ve been busy, especially these past few days. We were lucky enough to have some of Jeff’s family in St. Louis for Thanksgiving. Esme’s GiGi and Grandpa Art flew in from Massachusetts, and her Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Dave — who have a Bundle of their own on the way — drove in from the D.C. area.
Any family get-together includes a plethora of pictures, and we’ll probably post some here soon. In the mean time, Grandpa Art put together a great slideshow of some of the highlights from the holiday weekend.

It’s not quite as great as if we were there in person but the pictures of Esme certainly fulfill a small cavity in our hearts! She is getting to look like a young lady and you can see the expression on her face is one of “deep understanding”. We thank you very much for including us in your “visit” and short of being present there in person, this is filling a void.
P.S. We went down to Walgreen yesterday to pick of the pictures and low and behold – the equipment was broken down and although they had notice that the pictures were forwarded they could not print them until after FUGI repairman would come by this morning. So we will be there this afternoon to pick up the pictures. Looking forward to it.
Love,
Great Grandpa and Ellen
