Best of Missouri Market
It’s a sure sign that fall is here when the weekend comes for the Missouri Botanical Gardens to host the Best of Missouri Market, a small festival-type activity with vendors from all over Missouri. It’s always fun to go and taste all the Missouri food samples and look at all the fun knick knacks available. If this really represents the “best” of Missouri, then apparently Missouri is really good at seasonings for grilling, preserves and jellies, dip mixes, and all types of sausages.
We took Esme with us this year and she had a great time; she slept in the Bjorn while Mom carried her all morning. We were smart enough to not attempt to bring a stroller as the market is always super crowded. Nice weather, local vendors, thousands of your closest friends, and $3 admission which gets you free lunch consisting of dozens of samples of meats (for Jeff) and dips (for Leslie).
All in all, it was a great way to spend a really beautiful Saturday morning.

G&W Sausage is a great local shop – they are right off Kingshighway. I shop there often – for sausage.
