Festival of Nations
This past weekend was the annual Festival of Nations in Tower Grove Park. The weather was nice — if a bit hot — so we headed over there to check out cuisine, culture, and activities from all around the world.

We realized that loud noises really don’t seem to bother Esme — this picture was taken about 10 feet from some blaring bagpipes:

(Don’t worry, we had her hearing checked when she was born and everything is a-ok. It was probably just the hot weather and all the excitement that put her to sleep.)
We wanted to get some food there, though we were a bit impatient with the huge lines. We instead decided to walk down the street to The Gelateria instead (Mmmm, gelato…), giving Sara and Andrew plenty of time to fawn over Esme.

All in all, a good afternoon of pedestrian-friendly South City activities!
