The Lash Veety Experience
Before there was this blog (“The Hinyard-Lash Experience”), there was “The Lash Veety Experience,” the name for the as-yet-to-actually-rehearse-or-perform drum duo of Jeff Lash and Andrew Veety. Though the band hasn’t officially played yet (we offered — but were rejected — to perform at Nancy and Rowdy’s wedding), the promotion continues. Last week, Andrew presented Esme with the first (and only?) Lash Veety Experience t-shirt. (The fuzzy letters were a nice touch.) Though I’d like to say that practice will start soon, I’m not sure if dueling drumsets is the best thing to have in the house of a 3-week old.

Definitely the world needs another “quiet” drummer. I think that concept should be promoted – it may have potential for nightclubs where people would like to talk with each other.
Looking at the drum with such a loose drum head – it probably will not make any noise at all.
Next time – try an Esme kazoo band. It’s cheap and anybody can play along with her.
