Baby networking
It’s been a busy week for Esme — first doctor’s appointment, Grandma visiting, lots of walks with the dogs (more on that later), and some good socializing with other babies. Last weekend, John and Leigh brought over Rowan (10 weeks) to socialize, with Andrew and Sara joining us for some good outdoor grilling as well. On Friday, Tammie and Daniel (~15 months) dropped by. Yesterday, Beth and Roo stopped over with Joanna (~8 months) for an attempt at baby networking.
Not that the kids did not get along; it was more like they didn’t really seem to notice each other. The dogs seemed more interested in the new visitors, and vice-versa.
As tough as it is getting pictures of babies and toddlers, it’s even tougher getting pictures of multiple babies and toddlers. Plus, when you try to keep the dogs out of the picture (or include them in it), it makes it for nearly impossible. I’m not sure how Anne Geddes does it. Maybe we need to put Esme in a giant cabbage.

Lots of baby networking once you hit up the baby storytime at the library 🙂 It’s been a great experience for me and Brooklyn just as fun as networking at the park.
