Baby’s first walk
The weather was beautiful on Monday evening, and Leslie was in dire need of some fresh air — it had been 10 days since she’d taken a real walk outside — so we grabbed the baby, the dogs, and the grandmother, and we headed over to the wonderful Tilles Park for Esme’s first walk.
She seemed to enjoy herself, with the gentle vibrations of the stroller lulling her into a nice nap. Daphne and Oliver socialized with some other Chihuahuas, we watched all the activity on the playground, tennis courts, softball fields, basketball courts, racquetball courts, and hockey rink, and were reminded of one of the reasons why we love St. Louis — great weather, tons of parks, and lots of activity.
Here’s a quick video from the park:
And, if that wasn’t enough, here’s a big gallery of photos. You’ll probably especially appreciate the 20 pictures in the “Faces of Esme” series, which will likely be a recurring theme here.

We love all the faces of Esme. What a treat to wake up in the morning to see this cutie! It is hard to pick a favorite but #18 has Esme’s pretty eyes open. We can not tell for sure – are they blue? brown? Any color – they are beautiful!
